According to the government agency, some sectors will be exempt from curfew restrictions during this period. However, employees in areas that are exempt will need to obtain a special permit from their employer or the head of the organization that they must have at all times in order to come home from duty.

Whereas this permit would be deemed canceled after the radar was noted against the curfew. According to Dubai officials, curfew is not mandatory for employees in these fields. Hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, supermarkets, grocery shops, union cooperative outlets, restaurants (for home delivery only), pharmaceuticals and delivery companies, water and power sectors, petrol and gas stations, district cooling services, telephones. Communication Sector, Media Sector, Airports, Airlines, Ports, Shipping, Customs Duty, Public & Private Security Services, Municipal Services, Garbage Workers, Sewerage & Sanitation Staff, Public Transport & Transportation
In addition, migrants who have to leave the country within the next two weeks will also be required to obtain a permit by visiting the government's website dxbpermit.gove.ae to get to the airport.
