 August 01, 2020) Eid-ul-Adha was celebrated with utmost religious devotion and respect all over the country including Lahore on Saturday. On the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, Eid prayer gatherings were held in small and big cities At the same time, strict security arrangements were made in mosques and festivals.

Special prayers were offered during the Eid prayers for the independence of Kashmir, security of the Muslim Ummah, development and prosperity of the country and eradication of the global epidemic Corona virus. Eid prayer gatherings were held in all major and minor cities of the country, including Quetta, in which scholars explained the philosophy of Saint Ibrahimi and highlighted the true spirit of self-sacrifice.

After the Eid prayers, special prayers were offered for the unity of the Muslim Ummah, security of the homeland and prosperity. Following the prayer gatherings, animals were sacrificed in the way of Allah following the Sunnah of Abraham and the process of sacrifice will continue till the third day of Eid. ۔

Strict security arrangements were made during the Eid prayer gatherings while police personnel were also deployed outside mosques and imambargahs. Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar and Chief Minister Usman Bazdar offered Eid prayers at Governor House Lahore while various political leaders, Federal and provincial ministers, members of the assembly, senior government officials and judges of the judiciary offered Eid prayers in their respective areas.
