 05 Apr 2020) The Punjab government has banned social activities throughout the province, under which the government has issued instructions that despite the lockdown, the rush is coming in view. According to the details, Relief Commissioner Punjab has also issued notification of ban on social activities across the province.
The notification text instructs that the rush is being watched despite lockdown across the country. People are not fully following the social distance guidelines. An individual or organization must obtain prior approval of the PDMA for social activity. Violators will be severely punished under the laws. Similarly, DIG Operations Lahore, Rai Babar Saeed, said that security measures have been ensured to keep police personnel stationed at the nose and other places against coronavirus.

Protective masks, gloves, and other necessary supplies have been provided to police personnel. Police personnel has been urged to ban safety-based SOPs during public dealing with citizens. Lahore police are playing a vital role in protecting citizens from the risk of coronavirus. To ensure the implementation of Section 144 in the Jawzee Lockdown, the steps of the Lahore Police are to ensure the safety of the lives of the citizens.
Citizens should also follow safety measures and government directives in the wake of the Coronavirus, not to leave homes unnecessarily. Lahore police on Sunday staged a partial lockdown across the city in the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak. 144 further strengthened measures to ensure sanctions. Disclosing the details, DIG Operations Rai Babar Saeed said that a total of 1413 cases have been registered in various police stations in Lahore in violation of section 144.
