Peoples Party leader arrested for secretly burying a suspected Karuna virus patient, police raided Salem Cheema and 25 others at Rawalpindi funeral, all were shifted to Quarantina ۔ According to details, the lockdown has been done across Punjab as in other provinces.
Section 144 is enforced throughout the province under which no more than 5 persons can be assembled anywhere. But despite the ban, 25 people attended a funeral prayer in Rawalpindi. Police raided funeral prayers and arrested all persons. It is reported that the man, who was allegedly a funeral prayer, was also suspected of being a Krona virus. While secretly and on charges of violating the ban, police arrested Peoples Party leader Saleem Cheema.

All the other people attending the funeral prayers have also been arrested and taken to Quarantina, where they will be tested. It is clear that in Pakistan so far 8 people have been killed by the Karuna virus. In Pakistan, the number of suspected cases of Corona has exceeded 7,000. Under these circumstances there is a lockdown situation across the country, while the army has also been deployed. However, people continue to violate the lockdown ban, following which curfew enforcement is being considered.
