March 30, 2020) A 24-hour curfew is announced in Makkah, Saudi Arabia prepares to take even more drastic steps to curb the virus. According to a report released by Pakistani media, the Saudi government has decided to impose a 24-hour curfew in Makkah in view of growing cases of Coronavirus.
It has been reported that curfew will be implemented on the outskirts of Makkah. Following the implementation of the curfew, strict legal action will be taken against the violators. The Saudi government is taking several drastic measures to curb the virus in the kingdom. Lockdown is currently in most parts of Saudi Arabia. Most of Saudi Arabia's private and public institutions have been closed, while mosques have also been closed to offer prayers.
It has been reported that 154 more cases of Coronavirus have been reported in Saudi Arabia, after which the total number of Corona cases in the state has increased to 1453. The Saudi Minister of Health has confirmed 154 new cases coming up today. It is further stated that 49 patients from Corona have gone home after recovery and after that the total number of people who have recovered is 115. However, the condition of 22 people who are in the critical care ward is critical. The total number of deaths so far in Saudi Arabia is 8. In all these situations, the Saudi government has instructed the public to follow the sanctions imposed, otherwise strong action will be taken against them.
