Announcement of one month's extra pay to civil servants

Gilgit-Baltistan government announces one-month extra pay to government employees in the wake of the Coronavirus. According to translator Faizullah Faraq, the employees include para-medical, doctors, police and others. Baltistan has issued orders regarding extra pay.
Faizullah Farak said that during the lockdown, the poor and deserving will be given rations. The Secretary Population Welfare has been given a list of eligible persons. 84 have been exposed to the Karuna virus in Gilgit-Baltistan till now. One person lost his life. Information Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Shams Mir said in a statement to the media regarding further cases of coronavirus patients that three more cases of coronavirus have been exposed so the total number of patients has reached 84.

Of the 84 patients diagnosed, 4 have recovered and undergoing the Health Protocol are undergoing various test phases, and from these 84 patients, 2 patients will be discharged tomorrow in Gilgit. The Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that the Pak army is aware of the problems of the people of Gilgit-Baltistan and has mobilized additional resources based on war.
The Chief of Army Staff assured that the people of Gilgit-Baltistan would not be left alone during a difficult time, said Maj. Gen. Babar Iftikhar, head of the Army's Public Relations Department (ISPR). According to SPR, the chief of the Pakistan Army said that work is being done with the Gilgit-Baltistan government and civil administration. Chief of Army Staff Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa has made it clear that all Pakistanis will fight against the Coronavirus. ۔
