Confirmed cases of corona virus have reached 300,000 worldwide.

Confirmed cases of corona virus have reached 300,000 worldwide. The death toll is around 15,000, and the number of people recovering from the disease is about 100,000.
The head of the World Health Organization Director General, Tedris Adhanam Gebreyesus, said the Corona virus outbreak is accelerating but the trend can be overcome.
Italy has the highest number of deaths from Corona virus in the world, where 6708 deaths have been confirmed.
Suspicions are also mounting on the holding of the Summer Olympics in Japan this year following the global outbreak of the virus, and Canada has said it will not send its players even if it is contested.
The EU has closed its borders for all travelers outside the union for 30 days following the outbreak of the virus.
The number of people infected with the virus has increased to more than 25,000 in the United States, and Washington has barred its citizens from traveling abroad.

Citizens in the UK have been tightening restrictions to prevent the spread of the Corona virus, which has been in force since today. The restrictions will initially remain in effect for up to three weeks.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced the new sanctions Monday night. Citizens have been told they will only be allowed to leave their homes for 'very limited purposes'.

Citizens will only be able to leave their homes for purchase of food items and medicines, exercise once a day, office-to-house and office-to-house transportation.

Synagogues, gyms, playgrounds and libraries will be closed, with more than two people gathering in public places. Orders have been issued to close stores that sell non-essential goods, such as clothing and electronics.

Citizens are prohibited from meeting their friends and relatives. The police have been asked to ensure compliance with the government directives and the violators have been fined.

All social gatherings, weddings and baptism ceremonies will be fully banned, but funerals will be allowed. Parks will be open for exercise only, but no gathering will be allowed.

The British Prime Minister says the new sanctions imposed will be reviewed regularly and a decision will be made three weeks later (to further tighten or ease sanctions). In his speech, Prime Minister Boris Johnson said, "I want to give the British people a simple directive that you should stay home."
